PRIVACY POLICY

In accordance with Organic Law 3/2018 on Personal Data Protection and Guarantee of Digital Rights, as well as Regulation (EU) 2016/679, and related legislation on the protection of individuals concerning the processing and free movement of personal data, you will find below all relevant information regarding how we process the personal data you share with us.

II.  Purposes for Processing Your Personal Data. We will process your personal data for the following contractual purposes:
(i) providing you with an offer for our services,
(ii) addressing any requests you may have,
(iii) providing accommodation advice,
(iv) managing your reservation.
Based on our legitimate interest, we will process your personal data in order to:
(v) ensure our business activities,
(vi) guarantee customer satisfaction,
(vii) send you relevant service information by mail,
(viii) assess the effectiveness of our advertising efforts,
(ix) conduct satisfaction surveys, or
(x) investigate fraud or protect our operations and users.

Furthermore, based on the legal obligations applicable to HOTEL GALAICO S.L., for instance, tax regulations, anti-money laundering, and counter-terrorism financing, or for other legal reasons, we may also process your data. With your prior consent, we may also process your data to send you commercial communications regarding our services, which may be based on your commercial profile related to your consumption habits, use of our services, and navigation on our website.

III.  Data We Collect. We only process the data necessary for each of the purposes identified above. For the purposes mentioned, we will process the following categories of personal data:

IV. Legal Basis. The legal bases that authorize the aforementioned processing activities are contract execution, legal obligation, user consent, and the legitimate interest of HOTEL GALAICO S.L.

V. Data Retention Period

We retain users’ personal data only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, and according to the legal basis for processing. 

We will retain personal data while there is a contractual and/or commercial relationship with the user, to comply with legal obligations for the time prescribed by law, and for business purposes. The personal data provided will be retained until you exercise your right to deletion, objection to processing, revocation of consent, or when the data controllers determine that they are no longer necessary for business activities, as they may no longer be appropriate, relevant, or up-to-date.

In any case, HOTEL GALAICO S.L. reserves the right to retain data in a restricted form, without using it, while it may be necessary for the exercise or defense of legal claims, or if any judicial, legal, or contractual liability arises from its processing, which may require its retrieval.

HOTEL GALAICO S.L. will comply with current regulations regarding the duty to delete personal information that is no longer needed for the purpose(s) it was collected for, blocking such data to address potential liabilities resulting from its processing, only during the periods of limitation of those liabilities. After those periods, the data will be permanently deleted using secure methods.

VI. Data Recipients

Data subjects may exercise the rights of access, rectification, deletion, objection, portability, and restriction by contacting HOTEL GALAICO S.L. via a request to our designated email address: reservas@hotelgalaico.com, attaching a photocopy of their ID or equivalent legal document proving their identity and specifying the right they wish to exercise. 

Any data subject may, at any time, revoke authorization granted for the processing of personal data, in accordance with data protection regulations in force. 

The data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.agpd.es). 

The user is, in all cases, responsible for the truthfulness of the data provided, and HOTEL GALAICO S.L. reserves the right to exclude from services any user who has provided false data, without prejudice to other actions that may be available by law. The user is responsible for notifying any changes to the personal data provided.

VIII. Notifications 

All notifications and communications from the user to HOTEL GALAICO S.L. will be considered effective if made by any of the following means: 

❖ Email to the following address: reservas@hotelgalaico.com. All notifications from HOTEL GALAICO S.L. to the user will be considered effective if made by any of the following means: 

❖ By postal mail to the address provided by the user to HOTEL GALAICO S.L. 

❖ By email to any address the user has previously provided to HOTEL GALAICO S.L. 

❖ By phone call to the user’s number, when previously provided to HOTEL GALAICO S.L. 

❖ By pop-up messages sent during service provision by HOTEL GALAICO S.L. to the user. 

In this regard, all notifications made by HOTEL GALAICO S.L. to the user will be considered valid if made using the information provided by the user and through the aforementioned means. For these purposes, the user affirms that all data provided is true and correct and agrees to inform HOTEL GALAICO S.L. of any changes to notification data.

IX. Notification of Unlawful Conduct 

If any user or third party believes there are facts or circumstances that indicate unlawful use of any content and/or performance of any activity on the websites included or accessible through the website www.hotelgalaico.com, which could constitute a violation of intellectual or industrial property rights or other rights of HOTEL GALAICO S.L., they must send a notification containing the following information: 

Name, address, phone number, and email address of the complainant.
Specification of the alleged illegal activity on the website, and, particularly in cases of alleged rights violations, a precise and specific indication of the protected content as well as its location on the websites. Facts or circumstances indicating the unlawful nature of the activity.  

In case of rights violations, a handwritten or equivalent signature, with personal data of the owner of the rights allegedly infringed or of the authorized person acting on their behalf. 

An explicit, clear declaration by the complainant, under their responsibility, that the information provided in the notification is accurate and that the use of the contents or the described activities is illegal.

X. Applicable Law 

This Legal Notice is governed in all respects by current regulations. The parties agree that any legal conflict will be submitted to the Courts of Madrid, Spain.
